AP Physics 2 is a college-level, algebra-based course that expands on the principles learned in AP Physics 1, diving deeper into the fascinating world of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics. About the teachers:
Dr. Shao is an experienced Physics teacher and a former associate professor in college. He has taught Physics Honor, AP Physics 1&2, AP Physics C ( Mechanics and E/M), f=ma and College Physics classes. Students found their interest in Physics and gain the confidence with his help.
Dr. Shao was graduated from University of Texas , Austin with a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Before that, he was the youngest associate professor in Electrical Engineering and taught many classes related physics, electronics and circuits. His quantum mechanic class delighted the college students. He received the best teacher awards. He has been working in a high tech company about 20 years. He also enjoys helping the High school and college students in Physics. He would like to share his knowledge and passion on physics with local students.
